What changed in NativeScan

Version 3.1, 8 September 2026
Bug fixes.
- Fixed an issue where the first document you scanned after opening the app could finish saving without running AutoName and AutoSort.
- Fixed swipe-to-delete in the reminders list, where tapping Delete did not remove the reminder.
- Added a Delete button to reminders on the Home screen, so you can clear one that is not relevant.
- Scanned text now processes off the main thread, so saving stays responsive.
Version 3.0, 10 August 2026
The update where the AI started doing the filing.
- Recall. Ask a question in plain English and get an answer drawn from your own scans, with the document it came from.
- AutoName. Every scan gets a real title instead of a camera filename.
- AutoSort (Pro). Scans file themselves into folders such as Receipts, Contracts and Medical.
- Key dates. Due dates and expiry dates are read off the page and shown on your home screen; Pro adds reminders.
- ID photos. Passport and visa photos checked live against official specifications.
- The app in 12 languages.
